2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp Demo Day Showcases Promising Projects in Smart Contract, DID and other Blockchain Technologies
On Oct.25, the Open Day of 2021 Shanghai International Blockchain Week, 2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp organized by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, New Chainbase, Parity and Web3 Foundation threw a Demo Day for 12 talented teams in this Bootcamp to showcase their achievements and progress.
The 12 startups selected to 2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp, namely Moonbeam Network, Patract, Subscan, Litentry, Clover, SubQuery, MathChain, Subsocial, zCloak Network, Konomi, T3rn and dTrade are all built on Substrate and Polkadot. They are dedicated to enriching the use cases of blockchain technologies and innovating business models of Web 3.0 by focusing on the research of different fields, such as smart contract, DID, infrastructure, etc.
They presented the work they have done during this Bootcamp and shared their thoughts and feelings of this Bootcamp on Demo Day. For example, Patract Labs and Subscan described Web 3.0 Bootcamp as a great platform for blockchain startups to exchange ideas and learn from each other, which not only helped them to grasp a clearer understanding of this ecosystem but also helped them to seize precious opportunities.
Besides, SubQuery mentioned that Web 3.0 Bootcamp was more like an accelerator than an incubator where mentors gave all-round instruction in technology, product, marketing, management and so on while Moonbeam thanked Parity and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs for the marketing skills they provided as they were useful for Moonbeam to expand their presence in China.
Gavin Wood, Founder of Polkadot, Du Yu, Vice General Manager of Wanxiang Blockchain, Jia Yaoqi, Head of Parity Asia and Hao Yukun, Senior Director of Wanxiang Blockchain joined the event to congratulate the teams on their achievements.
As Gavin Wood, Founder of Polkadot, mentioned in his greeting speech, all teams selected to 2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp are talented and promising. He encouraged all of them to continue their efforts and keep optimizing their projects after this Bootcamp and expressed his gratitude to Wanxiang Blockchain for its support.

Apart from selected teams and organizers of 2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp, startups graduated from 2020 Web 3.0 Bootcamp, such as Acala, Bifrost, Crust, Phala and Astar, also participated in this Demo Day to share their experience and thoughts with newcomers.
Although 2021 Web 3.0 Bootcamp has come to a successful conclusion, Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, New Chainbase, Web 3.0 Foundation and Parity will continue its efforts in offering favorable platforms and environment to promising startups so as to build a sustainable and healthy blockchain ecosystem.
