A Total Price over $59k, 2022 Wanxiang Blockchain Spring Hackathon Opens for Registration
As technologies like blockchain, AR and VR continue to mature, Metaverse gains popularity. To encourage blockchain technology and application innovation and explore great minds for Metaverse development, Wanxiang Blockchain planned to host a spring hackathon from Apr.22 to Apr.24. Unfortunately, all preparation work was suspended due to a sudden resurgence of COVID-19 in China.
As the influence of the virus is now under control, we are going to reschedule this hackathon to Jun.10 to Jun.12 and keep the name 2022 Wanxiang Blockchain Spring Hackathon unchanged to commemorate the spring lost with contestants’ creative ideas and their passion to build and innovate!
This hackathon organized by Wanxiang Blockchain and sponsored by Nervos, Protocol Labs and Qtum (in alphabetical order) is now open for registration. Under the theme of “Metaverse: A Shared Future on Blockchain”, 2022 Wanxiang Blockchain Spring Hackathon invites talented developers and college students to create new and interesting blockchain solutions in Metaverse, such as DID, DAO, NFT, SocialFi and GameFi.
This hackathon encourages brand new ideas and projects in terms of blockchain technologies and applications. We welcome talented developers from China and abroad to join this tech feast and create interesting and crazy ideas in around 40 hours from Jun.10–12.

Winners of 2022 Wanxiang Blockchain Spring Hackathon will be awarded a hefty prize money and other resources by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and sponsors that will be necessary for the sustainable development of their projects. We also expect winners of this hackathon to continue polishing their projects and have better performance in the Wanxiang Blockchain Hackathon that will be held during 2022 Shanghai International Blockchain Week this autumn.
