He Zhiguo — Fuji Bank and Heller Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business

Professor Zhiguo He is the Fuji Bank and Heller Professor of Finance and Jeuck Faculty Fellow at Chicago Booth, and is the director of Becker Friedman Institute for Economics in China at the University of Chicago and the faculty co-director of the Fama-Miller Center at Chicago Booth. Professor He is a financial economist whose expertise covers financial markets, financial institutions, and macroeconomics broadly. He is also conducting academic research on Chinese financial markets, and writing academic articles on new progress in the area of cryptocurrency and blockchains. He has been named a 2014 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow. His research has been published in leading academic journals in finance and economics. He has been serving on the editorial boards of several leading academic journals.

Zou Chuanwei — Chief Economist at Wanxiang Blockchain

Dr. Chuanwei (David) Zou graduated from Peking University with a B.S of Statistics (2000–2004)and M.A of Economist (2004–2006), and then earned his Ph.D of Finance, General from Tsinghua University, PBC School of Finance (2008–2013) and Mid-Career MPA from Harvard. He is the Edward S.Mason fellow & Candidate for Master in Public Administration, Public Administration (2016–2017), also a research fellow at the Research Bureau of the People’s Bank of China and an associate research fellow and visiting scholar at the Financial Institute of the People’s Bank of China. Dr.Zou has years of extensive experience in top Chinese financial institutes including Central Huijin Investment, China Investment Corporation (CIC), where he worked as the Vice President in Risk Management Department, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Chief Investment Officer, and Nanhu Financial Corporation (NFC), where he is the founding partner who has helped the city of Nanhu near to Shanghai to develop its financial district and financial regulatory framework. Before joining Wanxiang Blockchain and PlatON, Dr.Zou worked for Bitmain, a leading blockchain and AI firm, as the Chief Economist. Dr.Zou’s researches includes commercial bank, fixed-income instrument, financial investment, risk management, Internet finance (ITFIN), Fintech and financial regulation. In 2015, He won the Sun Yefang Prize for Financial Innovation, China’s top prize for economist, and 5th China Soft Science Prize.

Lin William Cong — Chair Professor of Management and Tenured Professor of Finance of Rudd Family at Cornell University

Prof. Cong is the Rudd Family Professor of Management, Associate Professor of Finance, and the founding director of FinTech Initiative at Cornell University. He is also a Finance editor at the Management Science, Research Associate at the NBER, a Kauffman Junior Fellow, and a Poets & Quants World Best Business School Professor. He was previous a faculty member at the University of Chicago after earning his Ph.D. in Finance and MS in Statistics from Stanford University, and A.M. in Physics jointly with A.B. in Math and Physics from Harvard University. Professor Cong’s research spans applied finance theory, FinTech, digital economy, entrepreneurship, and AI in finance. His research won multiple prices and he was invited so deliver keynote speeches at numerous international conferences and world-renowned institutions. He advises industrial leaders in FinTech as well as government and regulatory agencies.

Tang Ke — Professor and President of Social Science Research Institute at Tsinghua University

Tang Ke, Professor and President of Social Science Research Institute at Tsinghua University, focuses on the study of commodity market, including data factor, fintech and digital economy. He has released several papers on top magazines like Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, etc. and now takes the role of executive editor at Quantitative Finance and vice chief editor at Journal of Commodity Markets. His research achievements were reported by U.S. Futures Trading Commission, UN Commodity Report and several media. Mr. Tang also won several awards like Leaders in Philosophy and Social Science and National Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth. He was also selected as the frequently cited Chinese scholar by Elsevier in 2020 and 2021.
