Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 Brings Together Crypto Titans to Discuss the Latest Industry Trends in Blockchain and Web3
Co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and the HashKey Group, and organised by W3ME, the “Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023” will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 12–15 April, in sync with the “Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (InnoEX)” organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
More than 300 industry leaders, project founders, investors, representatives from regulatory agencies, experts and scholars will be invited to share their perspectives on the cutting-edge Web3 technologies, regulatory policies and key issues for the development of Web3. The four-day event will be held across 5 stages in HKCEC, providing attendees with an all-round, multi-faceted insight into the Web3 world. Attendees will have ample opportunities to learn more about the latest Web3 technologies and trends, as well as the development direction and infrastructure for the future of Web3. Here is a glimpse into some of the key activities at the event:
The opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 will be held on the morning of April 12. The main stage session in the afternoon of April 12 will be themed “The Road to Compliance: Digital Assets and DeFi”, with side events “Technology Frontier: Integration of Web3, AIGC and Privacy Preserving Computing”, “New Web3 Era in Hong Kong: From Web2 to Web3”, “DeSoc in Trend: SBT, DAO and SocialFi”, covering a wide range of topics in relation to Web3 technologies, applications and the industry development.
On April 13, the main stage session, themed “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Metaverse: NFT and GameFi”, will discuss the latest trends in Web3, infrastructure and challenges of the metaverse development from multiple perspectives. Subjects featured at the side events will include “Web3 Technology Infrastructure: Layer 2 Networks”, “Web3 Financial Infrastructure: DeFi”, “DePIN：Web3 and Digital Infrastructure”, “Everything about Staking”, “Web3 Financial Infrastructure: Digital Wallet and DID”, “ReFi：Building a Net Zero Web3”, “Blockchain and Payments: Technology, Regulation and Practice”. Speakers will share their insights on how to expand and accelerate the applications of Web3 technologies in financial services and carbon removal efforts.
From April 14 to April 15, we will focus on the development of the Ethereum and Bitcoin ecosystems and prominent blockchain applications in the market, taking participants on a journey through the early history of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Web3 professionals and enthusiasts will learn more about the latest industry trends and market highlights and explore what’s next in Web3 applications. We are also welcoming partners to jointly host and present innovative side events such as exciting panel discussions and Web3 project roadshows on the various conference stages on 14–15 April.
Early bird tickets of Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 are now on sale. There are four types of tickets available: Early Bird, Regular, Late Bird and VIP. Every ticket offers the holder a four-day pass to the event. They will enjoy free access to all the event activities across the five conference stages during the event period and the opportunities to interact with more than 100 notable projects in various segments of Web3, global communities and media. Ticket holders are also eligible to attend a variety of Web3 project roadshows, NFT showcases and other events on the Open Stage. In addition, the VIP ticket allows for exclusive priority entrance and reserved front-row seating in the VIP zone, among other exclusive benefits.
